Who is Akindeyah?

I am a genre-bending Jamaican-American musician who specializes in voice, piano, percussion, songwriting, and music production. Akindeyah is a combination of my Yorùbá name Akíndúró (translation: The Strong One that Stands) and the Jamaican Patois expression deh yah (translation: to be here). Altogether, Akindeyah means the strong one is here.
